Stasha and Tim's wedding at The Old Vicarage Boutique

On Friday the 11th of June I had the pleasure of providing bridal makeup for bride Stasha and her lovely mum Sharon. Stasha's nuptials was based at The Old Vicarage Boutique in Southwell Nottinghamshire, This was my first visit to this venue and I can say with certainty that this venue is the perfect backdrop for any modern bride wanting something intimate yet still grand.

When we arrived at the venue for final makeup touch ups I had a little look around and the set up was just impeccable! Vaas florist provided her bridal bouquet and flower table arrangements. Stasha and Tim went for a Botanical/Biophillic style, The table centrepieces were created with a mixture of tropical leaves such as ferns, monstera leaves, palms, cheese plant and king proteas at the base. All styling was provided by Fine and Dandy Events who went for an ultra chic/modern vibe. The cake was elegant with a botanical feel to match the rest of the venue styling, it also sounded mouth-wateringly delicious with the bottom tier consisting of Madagascan vanilla with cherry jam and a salted caramel mud top tier.

For hair the talented Sarah from Rock n Roller Hair created a beautiful romantic braid which is the perfect half way house between hair down and hair up. Sarah added 80g of hair extensions in a slightly lighter shade to add tone and volume to the hair. Makeup was kept fresh and natural by creating beautiful glowing skin. I used Charlotte Tilbury's light wonder foundation paired with Bobbi Browns skin foundation stick to add coverage where needed. For blush I used my trusty Hourglass palette, this blush is an absolute staple in my bridal kit as not only does it add beautiful colour but it also gives a gorgeous glow to the cheeks. For the eyes we kept things soft and matte using Viseart's neutral matte palette, blending warm brown shades into the crease to add a subtle smoke and definition. For the lips we used Charlotte Tilbury's pillow talk diamond lips with her collagen lip bath in refresh rose.

Beautiful mother of the bride Sharon wanted to look glamorous so that's exactly what we did! Helping us achieve the look we wanted we used Charlotte Tilbury's walk of no shame collection which went perfectly with Sharon's stunning outfit!

I honestly had the best morning getting these two ready and its one wedding I'll never forget! With being away from weddings for so long because of the pandemic I actually had happy tears driving home from this beautiful wedding, Its so good to be back doing what I love!!!

Thank you for reading my first ever blog post,
